Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.

We established Abbeytrinity Dental Practice in 2004 with the aim of providing excellent dental care and promoting oral health within the Tuam and North East Galway community.
We welcome everyone to the practice, from the young to more mature. We care for patients in the Medical Card (GMS) and PRSI Schemes, with insurance or on a private basis.
Our practice is wheelchair accessible.

This home page contains mostly practical information about the practice, but please do have a look at the other tabs across the top of the page to find out more about our philosophy, us and our team, treatments, the denture lab, and our Dental Health Plan.

Opening Hours

Monday – Friday 9am to 5.30 pm.
Open late Tuesdays til 8pm, by appointment only.
Early morning appointments can be arranged.

Abbeytrinity Dental Practice also offer denture repairs in Galway, Mayo and across the West of Ireland. A same day dental repair is available at our dental laboratory.

In the FAQ section under the Treatments tab you’ll find information on topics like ‘What to expect at your first appointment’, parking, Medical Card and PRSI entitlements in, and in our extensive and continuously updated Patient Advice Centre tab we have helpful information, home care instruction downloads and resources about many aspects of dentistry. We hope you’ll find it useful.

Introducing revolutionary CEREC technology, available at Abbeytrinity Dental Practice since 2012.

CEREC means that you can have highly aesthetic and durable tooth coloured fillings, crowns, veneers and bridges made on site and fitted in only one appointment!

We are really impressed by the beautiful restorations, short treatment time and improved patient comfort that CEREC enables us to provide for our patients. We want the best for our patients, so when the newest CEREC Omnicam was released in March 2013 we were the first dental practice in Ireland to acquire it. This new unit has a superior 3D camera, video-stitching technology and superior software to the older Bluecam, so we no longer need to spray the prepared tooth with contrast medium to acquire the digital impression. Now once your tooth is prepared and dried, we just scan the teeth as they are. Faster, more pleasant, more precise, better for you!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
